South West Coast Path

We get a fair few guests stay with us because they want to walk the South West Coastal Path. There are a few walks you can do directly from The 25 Boutique B&B or a wider choice of varying distances and difficulties by driving a short distance. Along with Dartmoor National Park on our doorstep, you’ll easily fill a week or two if you’re a keen walker.

We produce a list with directions for a small selection of our own favourite walks but there are so many to choose from locally. Don’t forget that the sun can be strong on the English Riviera so always take water and sun screen even if it’s very cloudy when you leave The 25 for the day. The sea mist can quickly clear to leave a beautiful hot and sunny day.

Our stretch of the coastal path is known as the “Seafood Coast” and covers a stunning stretch of coastline from Dartmouth up to Babbacombe. There are award winning beaches to discover, hidden coves, the ancient Jurassic scenery and world class attractions.

Along the way, there are an array of eateries serving delicious locally caught fish. Or why not start your walk particularly early at Brixham fish market on one of their really interesting tours which take place several times a year?

When you’ve had enough of walking, there’s a network of ferries, steam trains and good public transport links so there’s no need to worry about how to get back to the B&B.

There are more things to do on the English Riviera than any other UK resort so you’ll never be bored on a holiday in Devon.
