We met some pirates yesterday!
They had come to an event we were attending to tell us all about the Brixham Pirate Festival which is now in its ninth year.
The festival has won awards and is a big event locally.
It takes place this year rom 29th April to 1st May 2017. Brixham is the quaint fishing village just the other side of Paignton and the ideal way to arrive, particularly for a pirate festival, is by ferry. The ferry port is just in the harbour in Torquay and they will be laying on extra ferries during the festival.
So if you're free that weekend, why not come & stay with us & visit the festival?
