Coronavirus
PLEASE NOTE, ALL NEW BOOKINGS ARE FULLY FLEXIBLE AND IF YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR PLANS
DUE TO CORONAVIRUS, WE ARE HAPPY TO MOVE YOUR BOOKING FREE OF CHARGE.
WE ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR LOCKDOWN 3.
WE ARE TAKING BOOKINGS NOW FOR FRIDAY 26TH FEBRUARY ONWARDS, WITH A VIEW TO RE-OPENING ON THAT DATE, SUBJECT TO RESTRICTIONS BEING LIFTED BY THEN.
Before re-opening back in July 2020 following the first lockdown, we produced our COVID-19 Secure Policy after conducting a Risk Assessment which you can read in full here.
In case you haven’t got time to read the full policy above, to summarise in a few sentences, we’re keeping you and us safe by all keeping at least 1m apart, washing our hands, wearing a face mask, and doing extra cleaning.
Some things have had to be changed like our buffet at breakfast is now served from behind the scenes and we can’t clean your room daily. If you’re happy with our policy then great, get booking, but if you’d prefer to wait until things are more normal then that's fine too. For those who already have a booking, we’ll happily move it if we need to, free of charge.
In June 2020, we were proud to announce that The 25 has been awarded the Safe Clean and Legal certification from Quality in Tourism following a thorough inspection which has been updated to include COVID-19 cleaning protocols. We have also been deemed "Good to Go" by Visit England, "Covid-19 Confident" by The AA and met the World Travel & Tourism Council's Safe Travels requirements.

Which attractions are open?
Can I get a taxi?
Taxis are plentiful. Some have screens. You will not be allowed to travel in the front. You may be asked to wear a face mask. We have some available should you need one.
Do we need to wear a mask at The 25?
From 8th August, you will be required to wear a face coving in the public areas of accommodation providers. This includes our reception area, corridors and stairways. Andy will wear a mask when serving your breakfast ad checking you in.
What is your COVID-19 Secure Policy?
Our full policy can be viewed in the link further up the page or here. It explains in detail all the things we are doing to keep both you and us safe. Please read it in full before making a booking.
How do I know it's safe to stay with you?
As well as completing a risk assessment as required by law, we have produced a very detailed COVID-19 Secure Policy (see link further up the page). Andy helped compile the guidance for Visit Devon, and his Secure Policy was used by Visit County Durham.
